Happy to be a member of The Center for Book Arts in New York

logo-cbaThe Center for Book Arts was founded in 1974 and is still located in Manhattan. It is dedicated to exploring and cultivating contemporary aesthetic interpretations of the book as an art object, while preserving the traditional practices of the art of the book. It was the first not-for-profit organization of its kind in the nation, and has since become a model for others around the world.

The Center seeks to facilitate communication between the book arts community and the larger spheres of contemporary art and literature through exhibitions, classes, literary presentations, public programming, opportunities for artists and writers, publications and collecting.

New installation: “Self-Portrait” at Bexco

Last night we finished installing the “Latin-American Pavillion” for the annual BAMA 2015 (Busan Art Market Affairs). I was not expecting to participate but it was a last minute invitation and opportunity that opened up after exhibiting my works at the Cinema Center. So, I made a new installation for this special event titled: “Self-Portrait”. If you happen to be in town, please pass by our Latin pavillion. 10622750_805667662863612_8722737344500808013_n
